Help us Preserve our Rural Heritage

Since 1973, the Osgoode Township Museum has been preserving our rich rural heritage. We are a non-profit, charitable community museum nestled just outside of Ottawa, in the village of Vernon, Ontario. Housed within a former two-room school, we curate and exhibit a collection of over 10,000 artefacts that bring our agricultural history to life.

We offer a variety of exhibits, events and programming for visitors of all ages, including:

  • Educational programs for school groups
  • Monthly programs for families and children
  • Online workshops and lectures
  • Events like pop-up markets, March Break programs, and summer camps

Museum visitors enjoy browsing our permanent exhibition, exploring the agricultural barn and strolling through the heritage garden. In 2024, visitors will also enjoy our new gazebo and sensory garden.

Every contribution counts!

Your generous donation will help support museum initiatives, including:

  • Planting and maintaining the volunteer-run heritage garden
  • Developing engaging educational programs and workshops
  • Preserving our community’s valuable artefacts

Thank you for helping us preserve and share Osgoode Township’s cultural heritage for generations to come!
